QIDAN position paper – Government responses to DRC

Earlier this year, both the Australian Government and Queensland Government issued their initial responses to the Disability Royal Commission’s recommendations. The responses generated disappointment throughout the disability community, including the disability advocacy sector.

QIDAN has carefully analysed the Australian and Queensland Governments’ responses to the Disability Royal Commission’s final report and recommendations, and we have prepared a position paper based on our analysis. The paper also provides QIDAN’s position on the recommendations made by the Disability Royal Commission (DRC), as well as some recommendations of our own.
